About the Teacher

I love teaching in a Christian school where I can focus on our Lord and His importance in literature. It amazes me to see how God's hand is everywhere- yes- even in Shakespeare and Mary Shelly's work!

 

I have been married to Michael Ackerbauer for fifteen years,and we have three beautiful children. I graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a Master's Degree in Literature. Prior to FCA, I taught at Beacon High School and Dover Plains High School. 

 

God blessed me with eight great years at Faith Christian Academy. Things are growing and changing all of the time. I am expect amazing things to happen this year. Keep praying!
