Classroom Policies
Classroom Policies:
1) All students are expected to complete the required reading assignments prior to coming to class. This allows us to have more of a discussion based class.
2) Home Work will be assigned regularly and will also be posted on the Mrs. Vargas page on the www.faithchristianacademy.org. Homework will not be accepted for credit if late (except for school absence). Students are expected to keep up with coursework (during absences as well).
3) Each student is expected to come prepared with Bible (pew Bibles are not acceptable), notebook, pen/pencil and any due assignments.
4) Essays and projects will be given regularly and will also be posted on the FCA website to give each student the opportunity to apply the biblical lessons learned There will be a five point deduction for each class day essays and projects are late (except for school absence).
5) Tests will be given at the end of each unit. Students will be notified of test date in advance and the date will also be posted on the FCA website. If a student is present on the day the test date is announced they are to be prepared to take the test on the scheduled date. Quizzes will be given periodically on the coursework studied.
6) Frequent lateness to class is disruptive to the class. Three lateness’s to class without a pass will warrant detention. Six lateness to class without a pass will warrant detention and a call home.
7) All students are to treat the Word of God and His name with reverence.
8) All students are to speak and treat others in a Christ like manner.
