WEEKLY BIBLE VERSE " I have not stopped giving thanks for you in my prayers."   Ephesians 1:16                                 Students should know this verse by Thursday, June 16.

We have been talking about how Paul and Silas witnessed to others, particularly when they were in jail.
Our Class thought of ways we can share our faith with others like Paul and Silas did.  I was so proud of how many things our class came up with!  Maybe they can use some of these ideas over the summer!

1.       Read the Bible and have a little Bible study

2.      Bring a friend to church.

3.      Invite a friend to a play date or sleepover and talk about God.

4.      Tell a friend about Jesus (the Passion Story).

5.      Show a friend your Bible verse cards.

6.      Pray with a friend or for a friend.

7.      Be a good example and follow the Golden Rule.

8.      Talk about times God was with you/give a testimony of what god has done for you.

9.      Read or talk about the miracles God has done.

10.  Watch a Jesus movie or a DVD about God.

11.  Make and play with puppets to act out a Bible story.

12.  Draw a picture or make a car for someone who needs encouragement.

13.  Sing songs about God.

14.  Invite a friend to VBS or JBQ.

15.  Help others

16.  Share your stuff and show love.

17.  Play teacher/student with a friend and give a Bible lesson.

18.  Teach your friend the Pledge to the Bible and the Lord’s Prayer.

 

 

 

Other Information:

School begins at 8:30AM and we don’t waste time getting started!  If you are dropping off your child, it is helpful if he/she could be in school by 8:25 or earlier, so that by the time school starts everything will be unpacked and ready to go.  If your child walks in at 8:30AM, there will be little time for friendly “hellos” with classmates and he/she is likely to feel rushed.

 

If your child is absent, please be sure to send in an excuse note upon the student’s return.  I am required to get a note for each absence for our school records and it will be much easier for me if you remember to send one right away.

 

Classroom Rules:

6.  Take care of yourself and your things.
