About the Teacher

About Miss Loiacono

Miss Loiacono is so excited to be teaching at FCA again this year.  Miss Loiacono grew up in the Poughkeepsie area and attended Faith Assembly of God.  She moved to Florida to attend Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida.  While there, she majored in Elementary Education with a focus on Specific Learning Disabilities.  She also minored in theatre, where she was the resident House Manager and even directed her own One Act.  Miss Loiacono decided in the spring to go back to school, she is currently working on her Masters of Teaching in Special Education through Liberty University.

After college, Miss Loiacono stayed in the West Palm Beach area and worked at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.  Miss Loiacono had the opportunity to present a wide variety of performances for school aged children.  She also was the co-director of their summer ArtsCamp. 

In August of 2007, Miss Loiacono moved to Jacksonville, FL to help a friend with his christian theatre company.  While in Jacksonville, Miss Loiacono taught 4th, 5th and 6th grade. 

Miss Loiacono has taken up running and in the past couple of years, she has run two half marathons.  She ran the Disney Princess Half Marathon and the Chicago Rock and Roll Half Marathon.  She is planning on running the Disney Princes Half Marathon again in February.
