To accomplish our mission for Home Bible Studies it is essential that we maintain the following values and standards:
1. By using only hosts and facilitators who are trained, who are in agreement with the mission of Faith Assembly of God and are faithful attendees, who adhere to the 16 Doctrines of the Assembly of God, and have been appointed by the Executive Committee of Home Bible Studies, the Coordinator and approved by the Senior Pastor. The hosts and facilitators must also sign a covenant agreement to abide by the Home Bible Study guidelines.
2. By using only the studies which the Media Committee and Coordinators approve after careful review. The whole committee is involved in the selection process and choices are made only when all are in agreement.
3. By having a Coordinator and Executive Committee made up of members of Faith Assembly who are under the authority of the Pastor and have been approved by him. The Committee is made up of the Coordinators of the Women’s, Men’s and Couples and Combined Studies, the treasurer, the database manager and the media coordinator.
4. By choosing homes that are safe, welcoming and foster the small group environment.
5. By loving one another as outlined in Romans 12:9-12.
