Verse of the Day:

stephenministry

Is life more than you can handle alone right now?

There are times when every  one of us experiences difficultie:

  • loss of a loved one
  • spiritual crisis
  • cancer
  • hospitalization
  • discouragement
  • divorce
  • loneliness
  • many other challenges

Could you benefit from having someone who would listen and care and walk with you through this difficult time?

Everyone goes through difficult times.  Having someone to care, to listen, to share God’s love with you can help you get through the confusion, stress, or loneliness you may be experiencing.

Stephen Ministers are fellow congregants who have received 50 hours of initial caregiving training to minister to people experiencing a crisis, facing a challenge, or simply going through a tough time.

A Stephen Minister will meet with you – privately and confidentially – on a weekly basis to listen, care, encourage, support, and remind you of Christ’s presence in your life.

Stephen Ministry…Christ caring for people through people.

God's Love in Action

Would you like to be a part of a ministry that makes a real difference in others' lives when they need it most - and in your own? Consider becoming a Stephen Minister!

Stephen Ministers provide emotional and spiritual support to people who are going through a difficult time, such as divorce, grief, hospitalization, unemployment, terminal illness, relocation, chronic illness, or loneliness. If you have gifts for caring, encouragement, and listening, please begin to prayerfully consider whether you might want to be part of this exciting ministry.

Want to know more about becoming a Stephen Minister?  Contact Pastor Cate Hexel by email or call 845-462-5955 ext.151.
