Armor of God 200x115   Armor of God - by Priscilla Shirer
Sessions: 7

All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you're tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you.

The Enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer's inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory.

James   James - by Matt Chandler
Sessions: 13

Understand that works don't save us, rather good works follow true faith as our beliefs and actions line up with each other. James had a unique earthly relationship with Jesus, but his letter clarifies what the Christian life should look like for us all. The Book of James is filled with pracitcal wisdom for Christians, calling us to live out genuine fiath through good works, but it is also rooted in rich theology. Perhaps more than any other book in the New Testament, James emphasizes the application of Christian belief.

This 13-session study examines the core message of James: the relationship between faith and works. In our own ability, we cannot stand in the face of adversity. Without faith we could never find the strength to trust God. We would never be able to see abovee the trials we meet and to keep our eyes focused on the King while counting our trials as joy. This is the essence of James. We don't work to be saved; we work because we are saved. Faith apart frin wirjs cab bever be sustained.

Lord Change My Attitude   Lord Change My Attitude - by James MacDonald
Sessions: 11

What does God think about attitudes? This study uses examples from the Israelites journey out of Egypt to how attitudes can affect whether someone stays in the wilderness or enjoys the blessings of the Promised Land. There is hope for the attitudinally challenged. (11 sessions)

In this study, James MacDonald shows how you can lead others (and even yourself) out of attitudes God hates and into those He honors, from:
  • complaining to thankfulness
  • coveting to contentment
  • critical to love
  • doubting to full of faith
  • rebellion to submission

Sermon on the Mount   Sermon on the Mount - by Jen Wilkins
Sessions 9

What does it mean to be a citizen of the kingdom of Heaven? Matthew’s gospel opens with three chapters containing Jesus’ longest recorded message – a sermon given to His disciples early in His ministry to articulate what the life of a Christ-follower would look like. It was a message intended to turn upside down every expectation His closest followers might have. Both practical and profound, the sermon asks of us the same questions it posed to its original hearers: How should a disciple relate to sin? To others? To the Law? How does a disciple think, speak, and act? What is the nature of true righteousness?

In His sweeping depiction of kingdom citizenship, Jesus utters some of the most familiar passages in all of Scripture. Most of us have only encountered the Sermon on the Mount in fragments, considering its subdivisions as complete teachings in their own right – a study on blessedness, a reflection on the Lord’s Prayer, a meditation on lilies of the field. But what if we navigated these three chapters as they were originally heard: as one cohesive, well-ordered message, intended to challenge us to think differently about repentance, salvation, and sanctification? This 9-week study led by Jen Wilkin does just that. Seat yourself on a mountainside to learn at the feet of Jesus. Ask for ears to hear and a heart to respond to the teaching of our King.

ThinkDifferentlyStudy   Think Differently - by James MacDonald
Sessions: 10

Learn to renew your mind in Christ as you identify and overcome the mental, familial, and even self-created strongholds that enslave you.  Why do we lose our temper? Why do we hurt those we care for most? How do families find themselves broken? The reason is often the way we think. Beyond behaviors and deeper than attitudes, thinking determines outcome more than anything else. God offers our only hope for victory over disposition, dysfunction, double-mindedness, and every other mental stronghold. With Him we can think differently.
