Pastor Ed Jones is the senior pastor of Faith Assembly of God. He is leading the congregation through a period of exciting growth and expansion. With a heart for missions and a building project on the horizon, Pastor Jones and Faith Assembly are poised to have an impact reaching the Hudson Valley and beyond with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Jones holds a Bible diploma from Zion Bible College, a Bachelors degree from United Wesleyan College, an Master of Divinity from Evangelical School of Theology and is currently working on his Doctor of Ministry degree at Gordon-Conwell Seminary. Pastor Jones and his wife, Joyce, have two grown children, Melissa and Ryan.
Louis Cancel III
Pastor of Communications & Media
Pastor Lou oversees the expanding media needs of Faith Assembly. A retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant, Pastor Lou has 25 years of experience in the aviation and broadcast television fields. Aside from his responsibilities in media, he also administers the church computer network and coordinates the construction mission trips for Faith Assembly. Pastor Lou and his wife, Marie, have two grown children, Alycia and Emilio.
Kreg Godfrey
Pastor of Worship Arts
Pastor Kreg oversees the worship, music, and drama ministries of Faith Assembly. He leads worship and coordinates our worship musicians, directs our Sanctuary Choir and Men’s Chorus, and directs and conducts our Easter and Christmas dramatic presentations. Pastor Kreg holds his Bachelor of Music from Oberlin Conservatory of Music with majors in Voice Performance and Music Education, and his Master of Music from Syracuse University in Voice Performance. Pastor Kreg and his wife, Barbara, have two grown children, Emily and Christopher, and daughter-in-law, Kim.
Ray Martin
Pastor of Children's Ministries
Pastor Ray and his wife Priscilla serve as the Children's Pastors for our Faith Assembly kids up to the 5th Grade. They bring with them over 30 years of experience working in Children's Ministries. They traveled for almost 10 years as full-time Children’s Evangelists conducting specialized meetings for kids and families in over 35 states and internationally in 7 foreign countries. Still in demand as speakers, they have served almost 20 different Assembly of God Districts as Kid’s Camp and Conference speakers and workshop facilitators across the country. Pastor Ray is a graduate of Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. They have two grown sons, Vance and Ryan, a daughter-in-law and two grand daughters.
John Ogden
Pastor of Discipleship Ministries
Pastor John is originally from Montreal, Canada and is a graduate of the class of 1994 from Zion Bible Institute An ordained minister of the Assemblies of God, John has a deep passion for discipling and mentoring people in their relationship with Christ. He has been in full-time ministry for over eighteen years and brings with him a well-rounded scope of ministry experience from serving as children's and youth pastor, serving on the New York District presbytery, and recently serving as lead pastor for the past eleven years in Hudson, NY. Coming to us in the fall of 2010, he and his wife, Joanna have four children, Sarah, Natalie, Johnny, Nathan.
Linda Schreck
Pastor of Congregational Care
Pastor Linda Schreck is the Congregational Care (including Stephen Ministry) Pastor at Faith Assembly. She is also the PreK-4th Grade Chaplain at Faith Christian Academy as well as a writer of devotionals for children. Pastor Linda has led children's outreaches from A-Z: Argentina to Zambia! Pastor Linda and her husband, John, have attended Faith Assembly since 1991. They have 4 sons, and 2 daughters-in-law... so far!
